CROSSING GUARD SUBSTITUTE
Seasonal, $19.00 / hr.
Fill in as needed at Specific Crosswalk Within Tooele City
Want some flexibility in your work hours and the opportunity to pick up shifts to earn a little extra cash without the commitment of a daily work schedule? Become a Substitute Crossing Guard. With our app-based scheduling system, you'll see a request for a sub come through and can easily sign up to cover those hours. This makes scheduling a breeze.
Shifts follow the elementary school schedule, consisting of one hour of work each morning and one hour at the end of the school day. In addition, we often hire regular crossing guards from our substitute list making it a great way to get your foot in the door for future regular openings.
Our crossing guards are not only tasked with safely crossing children on our roadways, but they are often the first adults that children encounter during their school day and the last before returning home. While children often see a familiar face, there are times that our regular crossing guards need to be absent.
This is a safety-sensitive position. Must be at least 18 years old.
