SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily removal of all slot drop bill validators and the daily counting and accurate recording of currency, coin, and coin equivalents from table games, slot machines, and other daily revenue.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Assist in preparation of daily records to accurately account for all cash counted in the soft count process.
* Assist in accurate recording (by table number or slot machine number) of all cash counted for each table or slot machine into the computer system.
* Data entry using computer and various software.
* Assist in the routine maintenance and cleaning of work area and equipment.
* Follow proper lifting standards.
* Follow dress code as prescribed by management.
* Safeguard assets.
* Open bill validator unit, remove the validator and replace with an empty validator.
* Record currency contents of bill validators.
* Place appropriate slot machine id sticker on each bill validator.
* Ensure that all bill validator units are locked and secured.
* Transport bill validators to Count Team secured area.
* Report any malfunctioning or broken locks to the security officer on duty.
* Drop and process all vending machine monies for each department.
* Follow proper lifting standards.
* Maintain proper confidentiality; maintain communication with team.
* Complete tasks in timely manner.
* Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to adhere to the daily/weekly schedule and follow dress code as prescribed by management. Must possess excellent math and currency skills. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner by prioritizing obligations and time. Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticism in order to learn new, updated information. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School diploma, a GED or equivalent experience and possess excellent math and money handling skills.

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED
Bill validators, SDS and CMP operations, computer, phone, calculator, coin and currency machines.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position requires: extensive repetitive use of hands and wrists in a pulling and pushing motion; frequent lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.; long periods of standing and/or walking; and frequently required to reach, bend, or stretch.
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to work productively under strict time constraints with variable deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able and willing to work in a crowded and loud, smoking environment. Must be able to handle being under constant surveillance. May be required to work in small, enclosed spaces. Must practice all safety policies, procedures and standards as set by OSHA.
COMMENTS
Native American and Tribal Preference will apply. Must be able to pass a background investigation and a drug and alcohol urinalysis as a condition of employment. Must be able to work flexible hours and to take on additional responsibilities when asked. Must adhere to company policies regarding strict confidentiality.
