Customer Service Representative/DispatcherFantastic opportunity to be part of a great team at TeamOne Logistics, a fast-growing national logistics company. We have an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher. You will have the unique opportunity to serve in a dual role.As CSR you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience with our company services. Your role is pivotal in maintaining customer satisfaction, building relationships, and promoting brand loyalty through excellent service delivery. As Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in facilitating the transportation of goods by coordinating the movement of freight. You will be responsible for managing logistics operations efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining communication with drivers, carriers, and customers.Key Responsibilities:* Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner, addressing questions, concerns, and requests for assistance.* Effectively troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, complaints, or escalations, utilizing problem-solving skills and empathy to ensure satisfactory outcomes. Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges such as route disruptions, equipment breakdowns, or delays, to minimize impact on delivery schedules.* Assist customers in tracking shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling transactions* Develop a deep understanding of the company's services to provide accurate information, make recommendations, and address customer inquiries effectively* Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries and resolutions as required* Adhere to company policies, procedures and service standards to deliver consistent and high-quality customer service experiences.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operations to address customer needs and achieve departmental goals. Collaborate with other members of the logistics team, including drivers, dispatchers, and carriers to streamline operations and achieve organizational goals.* Coordinate the movement of freight by assigning drivers, carriers, trucks, and equipment to transport goods.* Assist with strategically planning transportation routes to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods.* Maintain constant communication with drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status, resolve issues and address any concerns or delays.* Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping documents and other relevant paperwork required for transportation.* Utilize transportation management systems and tracking software to monitor shipment progress and track vehicles as required.Benefits:* Health Benefits Begin on Day One!* Exceptional Benefit Plans with Multiple Choice Options including Dental, Vision, Life, plus many other options.* Free Life Insurance Policy $30K* 401(k) Retirement Plan* Paid Vacations* Holiday PayPay:* $20Qualifications:* Previous experience in customer service* Previous experience in transportation intermodal logistics and dispatching preferred.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with customers.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed when handling challenging situations or irate customers, also the ability to make quick decision in fast-paced environments.* Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems and other relevant tools to manage inquiries and maintain records.* Empathy and patience in understanding and addressing customer concerns and inquiries.* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.* Strong organizations skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.* Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.* Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and documentation.TeamOne Logistics is a nationally recognized third-party logistics partner exclusively focused on the asset-based transportation and logistics industry.
