Details Client NameCarle BroMenn Medical Office Center Job TypeTravel OfferingAllied ProfessionRadiology SpecialtyCT Tech Job ID29881586 Job TitleCT Tech - Rad CT Weekly Pay$2488.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date01/20/2025 End Date04/19/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: CT Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology - CT Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night - 3x12 hours - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Experience: Not specified License: Radiography License (R)(ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (NMTCB) Certifications: Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT), BLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Demonstrated technical expertise in radiology - Positive attitude and a willingness to improve the work environment - Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative Job Description: - Perform computerized axial tomography procedures and assigned invasive procedures by acquiring and processing patient exams in accordance with accrediting bodies and manufacturer guidelines. - Review cases with the radiologist when appropriate. - Review labs and patient history to perform correct exams. - Administer IV, oral, and rectal contrast when appropriate. - Recognize and respond to any adverse or allergic reactions. - Screen patients for pregnancy and perform pregnancy testing if applicable. - Ensure patient, visitor, and environmental safety and report safety events immediately, including near misses. - Assist in the instruction of students and new staff as necessary. - May perform duties of CT Lead or Imaging Coordinator in their absence. - Meet productivity levels as established by department benchmarking. - Assist other areas during downtimes to maintain productivity. - May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department if licensed. - Comply with job descriptions of cross-trained modalities performed within the department.
