Full-Time CT Technologist - Evenings/Flex$15,000 Sign-On-BonusCayuga Health System began by joining two longstanding, independent hospitals into a cohesive health-care network providing seamless, comprehensive, community-centered care for the residents of central New York. With the recent affiliation of Arnot Health and the establishment of Xtensys, an organization focused on the integration and strategic operations of this expanding health system, we are poised to become the premier care organization across New York.The CT Technologist will be responsible for a multitude of CT exams including biopsies and Interventional CT. The employee will be knowledgeable and dedicated to radiation safety. The employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff with an emphasis on quality service and excellent patient care. The employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work as a team.Required Skills and Experience: Education - Minimum of Associates degree, Radiologic Sciences program. ARRT Certification in CT preferred. For those not currently certified, the requirement is to become certified within 1 year of the date of hire (except for Per Diems - where this will not be required - but still is preferred).Experience - Preference of two years' experience, but new graduates welcomed.Licensure - ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging and NYS license. Also must receive the enhanced NYS license for injection, on or before completion of introductory period.Preferred Skills and Experience: Problem-solving ability and attention to detail is preferred.Good written and oral communication skills preferred.Requires ability to prioritize work, manage time wisely and adjust to changes in work volumes.Physical Requirements: Able to stand for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination.
