Pay$33.08 to $49.62 per hour (depending on experience) Shift DifferentialsEligible for a variety of shift differentials depending on work schedule (up to 22% of base-pay) Shift Full-Time Options: - 10:30am-11:00pm (rotating days with a weekend rotation)- 6:30pm-7:00am (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) Job Summary- Conduct high-quality CT examinations using the necessary technical skills while adhering to established procedures and protocols.- Engage in all aspects of CT patient care, including pre- and post-care support within the patient care area.- Deliver outstanding patient care, ensuring safety, education, radiation protection, and an excellent customer service experience throughout procedures.- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, particularly within the Radiology Information System.- Produce appropriate images from the CT workstation and present the relevant films of CT scans to the radiologist.- Perform the role of a staff technologist, providing both direct and indirect clinical supervision and education to students in the clinical environment.- Collaborate on departmental projects and teams aimed at identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.- Assist with various supportive tasks, such as patient transportation, office and clerical duties, equipment troubleshooting, maintaining room supplies, and cleaning radiographic equipment.- Occasionally supervise radiology students directly and indirectly, as well as coordinate patient flow with the indirect supervision of orderlies. Qualifications Required: - Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.- ARRT CT Certified or ARRT registry eligible.- NY State Licensure.- BLS Certification. Preferred: - At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with CT responsibilities.
