Responsible for scanning and imaging protocols. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy, performs CTA's and inject contrast media where applicable. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results.Minimum EducationHigh School Graduate or equivalentGraduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology programMinimum Work ExperienceRecent, up to one year, hospital related experienceDigital Imaging and post processing PACS experienceRequired Licenses/CertificationsMust possess current Vt. state RT licenseBLS Certification through American Heart AssociationMust obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensureCT certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment)Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesKnowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.*Pay Range = $30.18 - $44.61#PM24PI7f82d636e53d-35216-#######9
