Job Title: CT TechnologistJob Specialty: MSBJob Duration: 13 WeeksShift: Mid - 5x7.5 - 12pm to 7pmGuaranteed Hours: 37.5Experience: At least 1 year of CT experience; Graduate of Radiologic Technologist ProgramLicense: New York State License in Radiologic Technology (L.R.T)Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiography and CT; BLS certificationMust-Have:- Proficiency in Radiography and Radiologic Technology- Experience with calibration and quality control measures- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols- Excellent documentation skills in a radiology setting- Strong command of the English language (Read, Write, Speak)Job Description:- Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.- Perform daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment to ensure proper functionality before conducting patient studies.- Administer radioactive materials to patients following physician orders and prescribed protocols.- Adhere to departmental documentation policies, ensuring all logs, manuals, and charge documents are complete and equipment issues are reported per regulatory requirements.- Conduct quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests while adhering to radiation safety guidelines and the ALARA principle.- Maintain, develop, and retrieve patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.- Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.- Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries according to policy and procedure, ensuring the activity level of the dose is checked before administration.- Perform CT procedures following prescribed protocols to ensure consistency and accuracy.- Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after visits in the Radiology department.Schedule Notes:- Training hours: 8am-4pm- Post-training hours: 10am-6pm
