Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques. Administers x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation. May be required to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call. May be asked to flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care at assigned sites(s). Works as part of a multidisciplinary team, serving on committees and participating in projects as requested, taking a lead role as assigned. Provides advanced clinical expertise and staff level leadership to the department. Depending on site assigned, may also be required to perform radiographer job duties.
Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited radiography programRadiographer experience preferred if assigned to perform radiographer dutiesThree years experience as a CT technologist required
Certification/Licensure:ARRT Radiography registration requiredARRT Computed Tomography registration requiredIEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in IllinoisWI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in WisconsinApproved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
