Department OverviewThe Motorola Solutions' Chief Technology Office inspires and invents advanced new technology for our customers. Within the CTO, the System Solutions team conceives of and realizes many new end-to-end products and services. Our team includes innovative industry experts with hundreds of granted patents. Some of our recent projects include AI searching at cloud scale, license plate recognition as-a-service, and a remote drone piloting system for situational awareness. One of the opportunities our team provides is the ability to work on highly diverse projects.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next generation of products. As part of our API-First, data-driven cloud DevOps team, you will have the opportunity to rapidly invent innovative solutions to the challenges we are tackling. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, architecting, designing, developing, and testing future systems. There are both front-end and back-end opportunities available, and you will be assigned an expert mentor to guide you on your journey.
One of our key projects focuses on real-time processing of video and audio media to extract valuable insights and actionable intelligence for Public Safety and security professionals. The goal is to enable quick searching and analysis of billions of detected images across thousands of cameras in less than a second.
In emergency situations, precise indoor location information is crucial for responders. Our second project involves fusing data from multiple sensors to provide real-time indoor location services. You will have the opportunity to leverage the latest technology and methods to pinpoint the location of those in need.
