For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: Job Summary Summary: The Culinary Admin for the Kaseya Center provides essential administrative support to culinary teams, ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. The role blends culinary knowledge with organizational and clerical skills. The Culinary Admin works closely with the executive chef and kitchen staff to manage the day-to-day administrative tasks associated with kitchen operations. This includes inventory management, scheduling, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, culinary knowledge, and experience with kitchen operations and systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Assist the executive chef and culinary team with administrative duties such as preparing reports, menus, and inventory lists. Manage communication between the culinary team and other departments (e.g., procurement, HR, management). Maintain up-to-date records of kitchen operations, employee schedules, and budgets. Inventory and Supply Management: Track and maintain kitchen inventory, including food orders and supplies. Coordinate with the supply chain regarding the needs of Chef's Partners. Assist on inventory audits and update records. Scheduling and Staffing: Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring that the kitchen is always adequately staffed. Maintains the Culinary Matrix in Premium and Concessions. Assist in coordinating employee training, onboarding, and compliance with certifications (e.g., food safety certifications). Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards in collaboration with the kitchen staff. Cost Control and Budgeting: Assist in tracking food, labor, and other operational expenses to ensure budget adherence. Menu and Recipe Management: Assist the culinary team in updating and organizing menus, recipes, and food preparation instructions. Maintain recipe databases and cost analysis for menu items. Event Coordination: Support the coordination of special events, catering, and large-scale meal preparations, including planning and logistics. Manage the Event Calendar, coordinating BEO's, Events, and potential changes for NBA Games and Concerts. General Office Duties: Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle correspondence related to the culinary department. Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining an organized workspace. Qualifications Qualifications: Previous experience in a culinary, kitchen, or administrative support role. Familiarity with kitchen operations and terminology. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, inventory management software). Ability to communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and management. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is a plus. Preferred Skills: Culinary training or education is beneficial. Experience with budgeting and financial reporting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Work Environment: The role typically occurs in an office within or near the kitchen, with frequent interaction with kitchen staff and management.
