ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary:

The OTG Culinary Operations Chef is responsible for driving the process from menu development to implementation. They will maintain high culinary standards, oversee all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and standards. The Culinary Operations Chef will determine the best presentation/packaging of food, maintain, and raise the profit margins on food . They will identify and coordinate training opportunities for staff. They will be the initial point for all new menu items and menu launches . The Culinary Operations Chef will conduct ongoing training, monito r, inspect, and follow up on culinary initiatives .

Responsibilities:

* Work with the Culi nary Standards Chefs and Senior Vice President of Culinary to help improve the current menu and standards within our restaurant operations.

* Facilitate the launch of new menus items , retraining and recipe compliance .

* Attend concept opening/reboot to ensure that product is implemented properly .

* Perform back of house line checks during implementation .

* Periodically make visits after development has implemented to confirm standards are met .

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT S

* Degree from an accredited culinary institution preferred.

* Must have Executive Chef or Sous C hef experience .

* Ability to travel 7 5%.

* Has multi-unit , multi-concept, national/regional full-service restaurant experience.

* Highly developed culinary expertise and principles including a variety of ethnic/regional cuisines.

* Experience in leading , training and developing culinary teams.
