About the Role
- As a Culinary Service Aide, you will assist in meal preparation and service, ensuring quality and compliance with established policies. Tasks include plating food, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all safety standards for mixing and using cleaning solutions while reporting any equipment issues promptly.
- Be punctual and respect schedules, completing assigned duties efficiently and responding to communication in a timely manner.
- Though newcomers are welcomed, a positive attitude and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success.
Qualifications
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent, with a background in food service.
- ServSafe certification is required by state law, and a Food Handler's card is necessary.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds while standing or walking for extended periods.
- Direct interactions with residents, clients, and coworkers should always be respectful and pleasant.
