Position DetailsWe are actively hiring individuals seeking full-time employment opportunities to join our fun and fast-paced team at One World Catering located at the beautifully renovated Woolery Mill. We have a variety of back-of-house opportunities available. Weekend availability is required. Enjoy high-end event experiences and lots of free food!Salary & CompensationThis is an hourly position. All Kitchen Staff at One World Catering share a 7% automatic gratuity charged to all clients. On average, the gratuity adds an additional $1.00 - $2.00 per hour on staff wages.Company OverviewOne World Catering is a Bloomington-based catering company that has been open since 2009. Previous culinary and/or baking experience is preferred. One World Catering is a high-volume kitchen that requires staff to be on their feet for the duration of shifts. While customer/guest interaction is minimal, some events do have carving stations in which kitchen staff will be required to provide direct service. Events range from 10-500 guests and include events for IU, weddings, Non-Profit Organizations, local businesses, etc.RequirementsPrevious culinary/back-of-house experience is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.Can work required dates (mostly Saturdays, other dates will be updated).Good listening skills and the ability to learn quickly on-the-job.Thrive in a fast-paced setting and can be proactive with tasks.Ability to work both individually and as a team member.Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.Must have weekend availability.Must have a valid driver's license.Reliable transportation and punctuality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
