Culinary Tray Team MemberPart Time Days | 6:30am-3pm | Including Every Other Weekend*** $11.50/hr to $13.30/hr, Based on Experience ***Department: Health Care Center - Skilled NursingStatus: Part Time - 24 hours per weekShift: Days (6:30am - 3pm)We seek caring team members willing and able to commit to Our Values: Compassion, Attitude of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Nurturing and Giving.The Culinary Tray Team Member supports our mission and values by providing high quality food service to all residents and employees. The basic objective is to promote optimal nutritional status for each resident by providing a diet in accordance with physician's orders and consistent with the residents' individual physical, cultural and religious needs. The food service will be on duty fourteen hours a day to prepare three meals and a bedtime snack. The department will provide food for special occasions.The Culinary Tray Team Member primary responsibilities will include:
- Respects and shows kindness to all residents.
- Protects and maintains confidentiality of residents' information and resident rights.
- Responsible for setting up the dining room and carts.
- Responsible for dining room and cart services.
- Responsible for cleaning carts.
- Responsible for taking dishes off of the dishwasher.
- Responsible for helping in the dish room.
- Responsible for washing pots and pans.
- Responsible for nourishments.
- Maintains clean work area at all times.
- Assures that floors are free of spills and debris.
- Performs tasks on cleaning schedule.
- Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control procedures and isolation procedures.
- Follows dietary policies and procedures.
- Responsible for putting stock away.
- Attend dietary meetings.
- Attends facility in-services.
- Reports malfunctioning equipment to dietary manager.
- Responsible for taking temperatures of foods.
What is required in this position?
- Requires applicant to be at least 16 years of age with a minimum of 10th grade education.
- Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
