The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) works in partnership with local communities to support people with developmental disabilities in living, learning, and working in their communities. SALARY RANGE$33,760.00- $37,136.00 Annually $1,298.46 - 1,428.31 BiweeklyThe hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent in this position is responsible for, but not limited to the following:Sweeps, mops, or vacuums all floor areas moving furniture and equipment, as necessary. Dusts, cleans, and disinfects all surface areas, furniture, household appliances and floors. Cleans windows and window screens. Maintains the outside of the building in a presentable manner by sweeping and cleaning the walkways, as necessary.Cleans and sanitizes all bathroom areas. Restocks the paper products (toilet tissue and paper towel). Empties trash cans daily and replaces with a clean liner. Ensures soap dispensers are filled.Attends training and in-service training as required.In case of an emergency or staff shortage, assist other Custodial Workers as requested by the supervisor.Ensures supply closet is stocked with necessary cleaning products; replace items that have been depleted.Performs other related duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS - A valid Florida Driver's License.
- If hired with an out-of-state license a valid Florida State driver's license must be obtained within 30 days.
- Corrective Lenses Restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle.
- Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs with or without accommodations.
