Summary of Job Duties:Custodial Workers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across campus facilities to ensure a safe and inviting environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This posting is used as the initial step to create an account in our system and upload application materials. Possible Shift Openings: Athletics: Monday - Friday 1st shift is 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday 2nd shift is 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm FAMA: 1st Shift is Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm 2nd Shift is Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm 3rd Shift is Sunday - Friday 10:30 pm - 7:00 am Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of custodial experience in the commercial/corporate industry
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques
Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance
Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive manual work
Ability to use cleansers and other agents to clean floors and furniture
Ability to use housekeeping cleaning supplies and equipment
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions
Ability to perform multiple tasks and to prioritize assignments
Ability to perform repetitive manual work
Ability to do required lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
