Salary: $20.00 Hourly Location : Lino Lakes, MN Job Type: Part-Time Job Number: RAC-Cust 112024 Department: Public Services Opening Date: 11/04/2024 Description The Custodial Worker position will help maintain an environment that is clean, safe and comfortable for our members at the Rookery Activity Center. This position is responsible for performing a variety of building, custodial, and general maintenance duties in a manner that assures clean, safe, and sanitary structures and facilities. Duties include dusting, polishing, straightening furniture; vacuuming carpet, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors and stairwells; stocking toiletries and cleaning bathrooms. Custodial Workers will receive a free membership to the Rookery Activity Center. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Two years of custodial or maintenance experience. Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires the physical ability and stamina to perform the essential function of the position. Ability to stand, sit, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time. Ability to carry and/or move up to 50 pounds. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must comply with organizational and departmental policies. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a part-time position (2-3 weekdays per week 6:00 pm - 9:15 pm, and/or 1-2 weekend days 12-6 pm).
