Hiring Immediately! Advance Services, Inc. is looking to hire Custodians to work at the University of Iowa in Iowa City! The Custodian is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and healthy environment for University of Iowa students, staff, and visitors! All Shifts Available!Pay: $16.97 Duties Include:
- Performs cleaning of floor areas (i.e. vacuuming, shampooing, sweeping, mopping, stripping, scrubbing, waxing, and buffing)
- Cleans and polished bathroom fixtures
- Cleans and washes glass surfaces, ceilings and walls
- Replaces light bulbs and cleans light fixtures
- Makes beds and handles both clean and soiled linens; refills holder of disposable items (i.e. soap, bathroom tissue, paper towels, etc.)
- Collects trash throughout building
- Assist in unloading tracks, unpacking, assembling, and moving equipment
- Maintains inventory of linen
