High school diploma. 2. Meets all mandated health requirements. 3. A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment. 4. Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. 5. Skill/experience in preventive maintenance and basic repair procedures. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and pneumatic principles. 6. Basic understanding of building systems (e.g., HVAC, fire suppression, security communication, etc.). 7. Ability to read, understand, and comply with Globally Harmonized System (GHS). 8. Can operate a computer and custodial equipment. 10. Valid driver's license appropriate for operating the district vehicles and plow trucks. Meets all prerequisite and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the district's insurance carrier. 11. Consistently dependable. Flexible outlook. Accepts new responsibilities/assignments willingly. Reports to: Supervisor of Business Affairs Characteristic Routine Work:To provide a clean environment, security for the facility, and whatever custodial support that is deemed necessary for the district. Starting Wage: $23.54 per hour for 90 calendar day probationary period. $24.97 per hour thereafter.
