Summary/Objective Contributes to the overall appearance of the Airport by performing extensive cleaning and janitorial services. Essential Functions
- Performs janitorial and custodial duties in assigned areas
- Performs general, routine custodial duties, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, replacing filters, cleaning high level windows, bulb replacement, carpet shampooing, polishing, trash removal, cleaning restrooms and restocking paper and soap supplies.
- Provides clean and well-maintained facilities in a courteous manner.
- Provides for safety of users of facilities and self by following policies and procedures involving safety hazards, wearing special clothing and protective safety gear, safe handling materials and cleaning chemicals, and reporting deficiencies.
Performs additional support duties as needed.
- Reports supply or material needs to the Airport Security Supervisor.
- Provides exit lane security.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements Required Education and Experience
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of janitorial techniques and ability to use associated materials.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience operating Floor Buffer, Floor Burnisher, Floor Scrubber, Vacuum, Pressure Washer, and Hand Tools.
