We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Custodian for our Colorado Springs location. In this role, the person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and the surrounding grounds. Please note that all positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.If you are an internal candidate, please complete the internal application.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, and vacuuming the unit, offices, hallways, and restrooms regularly. This includes conference rooms, patient rooms, hallways, common areas, and break rooms, using assigned equipment properly. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks. Minor trash pick-up around the property. Notifies supervisor of needed repairs/replacements to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. Vacuum air ventilation covers as required. Replenish supplies in restrooms and other public areas; make sure air fresheners are in working condition. Wash windows and walls as needed. Regularly clean and sanitize toilets, mirrors, sinks, floors, and countertops. Clean and sanitize patient shower areas. Empties and cleans all waste receptacles and empties collection cans into receptacles as scheduled. Replenish can liners. Ensure cleaning discrepancies are cleared promptly. Coordinates with supervisor on supply ordering and restocking. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or GED required. Experience: Prefer one year of experience providing custodial and/or maintenance services. Other: Valid driver's license and insurability. Basic computer skills required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift and operate various types of custodial and maintenance equipment. Must be able to reach, bend stoop, push shovels, stand on ladders, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
