POSITION DESCRIPTIONPOSITION TITLE: Custodian FLSA: Non-ExemptREPORTS TO: SupervisorTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 8-hr, 12-month employment with benefits as specified in the Classified AgreementQUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated; able to multitask
- Must be able to lift and/or move 10 lbs. routinely
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. to 75 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to climb step ladders
- Must have the ability to add and subtract and to perform these operations using weight, measurement, volume, and distance
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides students and staff with a safe attractive, comfortable, and clean environment- Empties trash
- Washes windows inside and outside
- Secures building each day
- Maintains lawn
- Shovels snow and remove debris from sidewalks
- Orders and maintains supplies
- OSHA compliant
- Maybe required to obtain a Pesticide User License
- Complies with School Board Policies and Regulations
