Custodian/Housekeeper - 2nd Shift - Asheville - $17.96/hr.PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a Custodian/Housekeeper for 2nd Shift at a local healthcare provider. Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within all assigned areas which includes offices, laboratories, training room restrooms, etc.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental service duties that promote a safe, clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment.
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the campus including labs, offices, restrooms and breakrooms etc.
- Responsible for adhering to a work plan and schedule of routine day to day cleaning.
- Perform special detail cleanings and projects on a regular basis as assigned.
- Perform in a manner that is least disruptive and harmoniously with the needs of staff, supervisors of all departments
- Maintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Responsible for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to facility staff.
- Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.
- Knowledge of safety hazards with cleaning solution and proper utilization of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Washes windows.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized and thorough.
