Custodian/Housekeeper - 2nd Shift - Asheville - $17.96/hr.PrideStaff is currently recruiting for a Custodian/Housekeeper for 2nd Shift at a local healthcare provider. Job Summary:Responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within all assigned areas which includes offices, laboratories, training room restrooms, etc.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform environmental service duties that promote a safe, clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the campus including labs, offices, restrooms and breakrooms etc.Responsible for adhering to a work plan and schedule of routine day to day cleaning. Perform special detail cleanings and projects on a regular basis as assigned.Perform in a manner that is least disruptive and harmoniously with the needs of staff, supervisors of all departmentsMaintains a neat and orderly janitors' room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.Responsible for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to facility staff.Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.Knowledge of safety hazards with cleaning solution and proper utilization of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.Washes windows.
