Personnel employed to keep buildings clean and free of refuse, to operate the heating and cooling systems and to make minor repairs. B. Perform assigned tasks in keeping building clean and attractive for the educational environment. Job Description: A. Performs assigned tasks in keeping school buildings and grounds clean, safe, and attractive for the purpose of providing adequate educational environment for students and faculty. Dimension: A. Reports to the building supervisor. B. Operates various floor scrubbing machines, buffers, and vacuum cleaners. C. Operates and does maintenance on heating and cooling systems and make minor repairs. Nature and Scope: A. Receives verbal or written instructions from building supervisor. Duties: A. Daily sweeps, dusts, mops or buffs all areas of the building. B. Daily cleans areas with vacuum cleaners and assists in wet cleaning these areas when appropriate. C. Daily removes all waste and prepares it for proper disposal. D. Insures that the building is securely locked. E. Performs other related duties as assigned by building supervisor.
