Works with cleaning fluids, chemicals, cleaning agents or similar solutions using standard protective equipment to maintain County facilities. Operates, maintains, and performs minor repairs to power-driven custodial equipment. Maintains the safekeeping of keys used to lock/unlock secure areas to be cleaned. Keeps and maintains work logs and records. Inventories all cleaning supplies and equipment on a periodic basis. Makes recommendations for purchases to management. Coordinates and participates in training programs for custodial personnel. Inspects assigned work areas. Analyzes field problems and develops proactive solutions. Operates a county vehicle following safety protocols. Performs ad-hoc projects as directed. Performs job duties with exemplary customer service. Works in a high-security jail environment, inmate housing, and holding areas and follows all safety protocols. Must be willing to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts and weekends.
