Wingate Companies is looking for a Custodian for our property in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant units, sidewalks and alleyways of property in a clean and safe condition and will assist in other types of basic maintenance, when necessary. Hourly Rate: $18.00/hour Why this Custodian Role is Special:

As a Custodian, you will:
- Cleans all hallways, stairwells, common areas, elevators, mail box areas, laundry rooms, along with model, corporate and vacant apartments.
- Cleans all parking areas, sidewalks, and alleyways.
- Maintains grounds (Lawn care, snow removal, litter clean-up).
- Attends staff meetings, as required.
- Attends resident meetings, as required.
- Assists with miscellaneous social program activities (e.g., set-up, pick-ups, clean-ups, etc.)

Experience Required for Your Success - High School Degree or equivalent
- Full time janitorial experience
- Plumbing aptitude
- Mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with power, water and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers and fires systems
- Ability to be on call for emergency duty
- Bilingual
