What we're looking for: Custodian--at our Ontario campus.

Summary: In relation to contributing to SJVC's mission and goals, under the direct supervision of the Campus President the Custodian maintains the facility so that a safe, clean and presentable environment is given to the public and employees.

What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $16-$19 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans and stocks restrooms regularly
• Empties trash containers
• Vacuums carpets and washes floors
• Ensures the cleanliness of entire campus including classrooms, labs, offices, reception area and student and employee breakrooms.
• Ensures safety of self and others by using and maintaining appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment as intended. Maintains an inventory and safety data sheets for the supplies as appropriate. Maintains supply room areas keeping them neat and organized.
• Reports any repairs that may be needed and safety concerns to the Campus Director immediately for follow up
• Ensures a smooth handoff during shift changes to other Custodians
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience - High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or relevant experience preferred.
