ABOUT TULARE OUTLETS Situated in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, Tulare Outlets is a must-stop shopping experience for travelers making their way through the golden state of California. In its convenient location off Highway 99, Tulare Outlets is the perfect locale to meet all shopping, dining, and entertainment needs while appreciating all Central California has to offer. We are currently seeking Full-Time Custodians.The custodian will be responsible to maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the common areas and parking lot. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain all common areas of the center, including the public restrooms and parking lots, to the standards set by company for cleanliness and appearance (removing gum, stains, cigarette butts, paper and debris from ground).
- Ensure cart is fully stocked at the beginning of shift.
- Support the maintenance staff as directed by the Operations Director.
- Perform all duties according to OSHA-established health and safety standards.
- Assist customers as appropriate, always maintaining a positive friendly and helpful attitude.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area in all custodial storage areas.
- Ensure complete working knowledge and familiarity of all Center Emergency Procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the food court.
- Sanitize all tables and chairs, maintain the proper placement of all tables and chairs, both food court interior and food court exterior.
- Collect dirty food trays, sanitize them in the tray washing room, and re-distribute them to the food court restaurants.
- Maintain the proper placement of food court table top advertisements.
- Ensure food court area is clean, empty trash, wash windows, doors, clean floors and clean spills.
- Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
- No experience is necessary.
- Ability to effectively respond to issues both verbally and in writing.
- Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.
