Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of our facilities. This role includes routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance duties, and ensuring a safe environment for all employees, visitors, and guests. Responsibilities: Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, and other facility areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Trash Collection: Empty trash and recycling receptacles, ensuring proper disposal. Sanitization: Sanitize high-touch surfaces and shared spaces to maintain a hygienic environment. Restocking Supplies: Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other areas as needed. Working hours: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM Skills: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred. Familiarity with cleaning methods, equipment, and safety protocols. Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time-management skills. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: -Attention to Detail: Ensuring thorough cleaning and spotting areas that need extra care. -Time Management: Efficiently organizing tasks to complete daily routines and any unexpected duties. -Basic Maintenance Skills: Handle cleaning equipment, and report larger maintenance issues. -Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods, as the role often requires physical labor. -Knowledge of Cleaning Procedures and Safety Standards: Familiarity with cleaning methods, products, and safety protocols for handling chemicals. -Problem-Solving Skills: Quickly addressing unexpected issues, such as spills or minor repairs. -Reliability and Accountability: Dependable work habits and a sense of responsibility for the assigned space. -Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing tasks and priorities as needed. -Customer Service Orientation: A polite, helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants or visitors.
