**Facilities Custodian**
Location: Saxonburg, PA
Shift: 2 nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
Pay Rate: $19/hour + 10% shift differential
The Facility Custodian performs routine general housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance activities to ensure that the site remains clean, organized, and in orderly condition.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for performing general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
+ Effectively performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
+ Regularly empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
+ Responsible for reporting needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders and checking supply levels.
+ Accountable for ensuring all building perimeter doors are secure at the start of shift.
+ Responsible for ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
+ Responsible for assisting with snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
+ Accountable for ensuring production clean room areas are kept clean and floors waxed to reduce particulate contamination.
**Education & Experience**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Two (2) years' experience in custodial work within a manufacturing environment preferred
+ Experience in operating custodial machinery and equipment, including floor care and chemical mixtures preferred
+ Experience with cleaning production and clean rooms preferred
**Skills & Other Requirements**
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others to create positive working relationships
+ Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
+ Must have a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
+ Ability to accommodate flexible schedule.
**Working Conditions**
+ Various interior and exterior, including plant floor, office areas, grounds
+ Exposure to noise, dust, fumes
+ Exposure to hazardous chemicals used on-site
**Physical Requirements**
+ Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, pull regularly
+ Ability to sit or walk for extended periods
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
+ Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the site including climbing ladders, bending, squatting, and crawling in tight spaces
+ Use of protective equipment as needed
**Safety Requirements**

**Pay Details:** $39,520.00 per year
