The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the property in such a way that it promotes health and safety at all times. It is the role of the Custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules which includes, but is not limited to, the biprocessing, scale house and administration building. The Custodian is responsible for making all areas of POET look its best at all times. DURING A TYPICAL DAY (IF THERE IS ONE)... Clean and sanitize all areas of the bioprocessing facility to include plant offices, restrooms and common areas (i.e. break rooms and control room) on a daily basis. Sweep, wax and buff floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets and rugs and clean windows. Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment. Clean and empty garbage and trash cans daily. Assist with bioprocessing operations as requested. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies either manually or with moving equipment.
