Opportunity: The Downers Grove Park District is looking for part-time custodians at our Recreation Center and Lincoln Center. Position hours are for
Saturday and/or Sunday in four- or five-hour shifts for one of both days. There may be additional work hours available weekday mornings. This position includes a free Fitness membership.
A day in the Life: - Cleaning halls, gyms, bathrooms, offices, and other rooms at Downers Grove Park District facilities including scouring sinks, polishing mirrors, dusting furniture, and mopping floors
- Vacuuming, mopping
- Emptying trash
- Performing set ups which may include moving furniture, chairs, tables, and other large items
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
About you: - CPR/AED certification is required and paid for by the Park District
- High-school diploma or GED
- Demonstrates good attendance, effective communication, and attention to detail
