This position is responsible for the cleaning of the school premises which includes both interior and exterior job duties to provide a safe and sanitary environment for the students and staff. This position enjoys a flexible schedule and opportunity to work independently following district protocols and procedures. The following are the essential skills, education and abilities required for the position: Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to operate small equipment - such as lawnmowers, genie lifts, small tractors and power tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to maintain respect for student confidentiality
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in general maintenance and/or custodial/cleaning services. Additional years of experience in this area is preferable.
- Must complete pre-employment requirements such as a background check upon conditional offer of employment.
