Overview and ResponsibilitiesSaint Mary's University of Minnesota is accepting applications for Custodians. Custodians are responsible for general housekeeping and sanitizing in various areas on campus including classrooms, offices, residence halls, athletic facilities, and grounds.Salary range: $16/hr. - $18/hr.General responsibilities include:Restroom and shower room cleaningCarpet maintenanceTrash removalDustingSnow removalOperation of floor machine for refinishing or buffing of floors as neededWall washingBleacher setupChanging of light bulbsOther duties as assignedQualificationsCustodial experience in a school or multi-building office/commercial space preferredValid driver's license preferredEffective interpersonal skills and ability to work with studentsAbility to work independently with little supervision and work well in a team environmentAbility to climb and work from laddersAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis; up to 50 lbs. on occasionAbility to bend, twist, and stoop and spend the majority of the shift on footAbility to work nights and weekends if position requires itAbility to work outside in the elements year-roundAbility to wear a Saint Mary's uniformApplication RequirementsApply online at: Saint Mary's University Employment Opportunities and include contact information for three professional references.
