UNDERSTANDINGCustom Gift Packaging Associates play a key role in our customer experience. These team members create one of a kind gift baskets, trays, and other unique gift items with our World's Best Confections. They play close attention to detail of the products they are packaging and décor elements such as ribbon and embellishments to make each gift item a special experience for our customers. This team member is skilled in making sure items are aesthetically pleasing. Although they have a set of standard guidelines to follow when making gift items, a creative touch is welcome in this role.SCOPEThis team member supports Retail Operations but may also support other departments at the direction of management.CORE VALUESOur 5 Core Values are more than just words, they're a way of life. We know that companies with a strong culture & a higher purpose perform better in the long run.* Own It* Hustle and Refuse to Settle* Love People* Act for the Greater Good* Find a wayRESPONSIBILITIES* Package and decorate items following Albanese guidelines, in various assortment boxes, trays and bags for stores and corporate customers.* Accurately measure, weigh, date, and count products and materials.* Works closely with retail store personnel to keep store stocked for all occasions.* Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to specific levels.* Responsible for monitoring quality* Comply with all company quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards and all company safety policies and procedures.* Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS* Must be able to speak, read and write in English.* Regular and timely attendance* Must be able to maintain sanitary conditions for Food Safety.* Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.* Must have basic math skills (with use of a calculator)* Must be able to read and interpret weight scale readings and tape measures.* Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds on occasion.* Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift with applicable breaks.* Excellent interpersonal skills - team player* Creative personality* Must be able to follow examples and mass produce items.* Must be detailed oriented.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent time management skills- required to meet deadlines.* Making decisions and solving problems.* Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships* Interacting With Computers- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet Navigation, other basic desktop programs* Crafting knowledge* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.* Ability to stand for up to 10 hours* No experience is required, however, experience with crafts, floral arrangements, or other artistic fields is preferred.EDUCATION* Must have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D.
