Position Available: Customer Assistant I - Thrifty's

Supervised by: Retail Store Manager - Thrifty's

Location: Thrifty's (1520 6th Ave N; Estherville, IA)

Hours: Monday-12.30a-5:30p

Saturday- 9:30a - 2:30p

Thrifty's is a retail thrift store that receives donated items from the area, identifies what can be utilized, and then sells the products to the general public at the store location.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for all sales activities and customer assistant job duties, such as:

* Greeting customers

* Answering questions of customers

* Offering assistance to customers

* Suggesting items / lending opinions to customers

* Providing product information to customers

* Operate cash register, computing sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash, credit card or check payment

* Ticket, arrange and display merchandise to promote sales

* Clean shelves, counters, tables, and other cleaning duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma or GED/HSED preferred

* Negative drug screen

* Must be 18 years of age

* Must pass a health assessment at time of hire

* Clearance from a criminal background check and abuse reporting check at time of hire
