Help fast-growing consumer brands succeed. Outerspace is a new type of Ops Center for high growth brands. We do warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, product photography, and more. This is not an old school warehouse operation that has been doing things the same wayfor 30 years. We come from the brand side and have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada and Nice Laundry. Our clients are the heart of our business. Outerspaces Operations Management team is responsible for managing some of our most important client relationships. Youll work closely with senior employees at these companies and their customer care representatives to ensure that were meeting all of their needs and are executing against their vision. Essentially, you become an extension of their team. You will not only solve various challenges daily, but also proactively engage in improving our workflows and operations. Were looking for a natural relationship builder who will be comfortable taking on tasks both big and small, from simple order edits to larger, strategic projects. Youll be communicating with clients daily via phone, facetime, Slack, text message and email. You will also be managing and leading the warehouse operations responsible for your brands and working alongside them as time allows. Build long-term relationships with your contacts at fast-growing brands and deeply understand their strategy and goals Solve various daily issues both big and small to ensure smooth operations Work closely with company leaders from multiple functions to improve our product and service Make clients love Outerspace by proactively offering advice on industry best practices and creative solutions. Lead and contribute to projects to develop and refine our operations Resourceful problem solver. You dont need a playbook because you write the playbook. Has 2 years of experience in a client-facing role, with a track record of top performance Strong attention to detail Impeccable email and writing skills Ability to comfortably communicate via phone, facetime, slack, text message or email depending on client preference. Requires the ability to assist in warehouse as needed (and lift up to 20 lbs) Ability to operate in an often ambiguous and fast-paced environment Comfort with juggling many tasks at once, while also prioritizing effectively Outerspace offers competitive salary benefits.
