Job DetailsJob Location: Houston TX Corporate Office - Houston, TXSalary Range: UndisclosedJob Category: Admin - ClericalDescriptionThe Customer Care Coordinator is a key role on our team and operates as the voice of the company when liaising with our key stakeholders including Account Managers, Freight Carriers, and Key Clients. Candidates for this position are encouraged to be self-starting, solutions-oriented, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.The Customer Care Coordinator works closely with the Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to schedule, manage, and ensure timely on-budget chemical deliveries to our customers.On a Day-to-Day basis, the ALTIVIA Customer Care Coordinator will:* Liaise with multiple ALTIVIA plants, customers, and freight carriers* Build and enhance customer satisfaction by continuously improving processes and communications to provide a greater level of service* Ensure completeness and accuracy of order documents* Receive and enter incoming order requests from customers* Schedule shipments according to Operations and Supply Chain objectives* Manage shipping schedules on behalf of each plant with our freight partners* Evaluate carrier performance and report KPIs to Supply Chain & Logistics* Maintain paperwork records and spreadsheets to assist in invoice approvals* Report and maintain records of customer communication & resolved issues, as applicable* Multiple customer service tasks as needed* Administrative duties with little or no supervisionQualifications* Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years Customer Service experience within the Chemicals Industry preferred* Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory compliance for import and export activities, globally* Familiarity with international commercial terms (Incoterms) and HAZMAT transport requirements* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and good interpersonal skills* Strong team player who performs well in a fast-paced work environment* Critical thinker with ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner* Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills* Must be well organized and detail-oriented* Strong, intermediate knowledge of MS Office & Excel
