Location: Strasburg,VA, USA
Position Purpose: The Customer Care Representative is primarily responsible for providing customers with assistance via telephone as well as routing customer calls to as appropriate. It is essential that the Customer Care Representative possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
Essential Duties (These are the primary duties for your position):
* Answer and resolving customer inquiries regarding the products and services offered by the bank
* Route incoming calls as appropriate
* Forward phone messages to individuals/departments
* Image, index and verify deposit account documents
Other Duties (Additional things you may do to assist when someone is away, etc.):
* Provide operational assistance as needed
* General clerical work/tasks as assigned
Assist the Item Processing department as needed
Training (Training required to be fully proficient in this position):
* Phone system training
* Computer/Software training
* Product specific training
* General understanding of departmental functions to ensure phone calls are properly routed
* Applicable regulatory training
Communication (Requirement to communicate orally and verbally with whom):
The Customer Care Representative must possess well refined verbal and written communications skills to effectively and efficiently execute their duties. Effective communication with customers and departments is crucial to the operation of the Customer Care Center.
Working Conditions (Those specific conditions in which you work: standing sitting, etc.):
The Customer Care Representative will spend nearly 100% of the workday sitting at the desk in front of a computer. The Representative may be required to lift bank records or items weighing up to 25 pounds infrequently. Generally speaking, the Customer Care Representative will use their hands continuously throughout the day.
