**Customer Care Specialist**

at realtor.com Chicago, IL Avail is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our quickly growing team. In this role, you will be our customers first point of contact and you will have the opportunity to drive the value they find on the platform. This role communicates predominantly via phone, chat, and tickets with landlords, tenants, and third-party partners to ensure positive experiences.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

* Develop a deep knowledge of Avail.co products and services

* Respond to help tickets in Zendesk using impeccable grammar

* Receive inbound phone calls and respond to voicemail messages

* Manage real-time inquiries via chat

* Demonstrate professionalism in communication, relationship development, and over-the-top customer service

* Maintain open channels of communication with managers and all team members

* Properly document and escalate technical issues

* Identifying customers needs to achieve satisfaction and drive value

* Capitalize on opportunities to innovate within the organization

* Identify the need for and create self-help solutions for customers and internal team members

* Achieve KPIs in Zendesk where productivity and quality are key in providing excellent customer experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree

* Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for people

* Ability to empathize; seeking to understand customers as well as colleagues

* 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service role

* Experience working with a SaaS platform product

* Expert-level written and oral communication

* Ability to be strategic, but still roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done

* Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines

NICE TO HAVES

* Multilingual

* Experience working with fast-growth technology company

* Experience in the following tools: Zendesk and JIRA

* 1+ years of experience within the Real Estate or Residential Property Management Industry

* 1+ years of experience in a sales capacity
