Job Description:
Under the general direction of to the Administrative Services Manager, this position is responsible for program management of Transportation Services (TS) front office operations. Directly supervises team of four Customer Service Representatives. Ensures reporting staff comply with policies, rules and regulations. Distributes work assignments ensuring deadlines are met. Audits and performs analysis of sales and citation related reports, and assists with the planning and development of related programs. Serve as primary contact for parking operations and liaison to various departments and UCDHS parking office. Ensures processes are in compliance with University policy and/or local, state and federal regulations.Apply By Date 10/1/2024 at 11:59pmQualifications Minimum Qualifications For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license, certification and/or educational degree if required of the position.
  • Supervisory experience in a complex service/sales unit, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Supervisory experience leading a team, ensuring, setting expectations, evaluating performance, motivating, training, and initiating corrective action.
  • Experience with cashiering operations, credit card security policies, inventory, and internal audit controls.
  • Experience responding to a high volume of customer inquiries verbally and in writing.
  • Experience using discretion to protect confidentiality surrounding all matters. Understanding university, campus, management principles, policies, philosophy, problems, and subject matter.
  • Skills to evaluate complex issues and identify resolutions. Skills to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.

Department Overview Transportation Services is a multifunctional organization that provides services to the campus and nearby communities. The front counter operations team handles sale of parking permits, transit passes, bicycle licenses, citation appeals and payments. Reconcile and audit payroll deduction transactions, cash reconciliation, and purchasing unit support.Position Information

  • Valid A California driver's license is required.
  • Work overtime occasionally on weekends, usually with short notice, to meet operational needs.
