DescriptionCustomer Liaison - 1st Shift The Customer Liaison will support and interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about operations and services. - Act as the customer's primary onsite contact.
- Communicate with all needed personnel to ensure adequate parts inventory is maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
- Perform detailed inventory functions and communicate findings to both internal and external personnel.
- Analyze statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service the organization is providing.
- Produce written information for customers, often involving use of computer packages/software
- Write reports analyzing the customer service that your organization provides
- Follow proper internal and external alarm processes when inventory issues are identified.
- Develop feedback or complaints procedures for customers to use
- Provide help and advice to customers using the organization's products or services
- Communicate courteously with customers by telephone, email, letter and face to face
- Investigate and solve customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems.
- Handle customer complaints or any major incidents
- Perform special projects, duties, and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentThis job is performed in a busy warehouse environment with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull Time, Exempt. First Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pmSchedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.TravelSome travel is expected between locations.Education and Experience
- High School diploma is required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to use mathematical equations to compute productivity reports
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and proven safety record
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Must have strong computer skills and operational knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Working knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Prior experience working in a warehouse and/or working in a JIT (Just-In-Time Inventory) environment is preferred
- Must be able to work in stressful environments and effectively resolve conflict
