Job Description:
The Customer Project Buyer will be responsible for Project base spot actions for a certain Plant. This position will be accountable for procurement special deals for mega projects, focus on Supply Chain Resiliency, support tender to win mega projects if needed and help to execute by securing the project base parts lead time & maximum productivity.This position requires travel expectations of 10% - 15% within US mainly. What will you do?
  • Focusing on Supply Chain Resiliency
  • Business continuity for customer projects.
  • Manage selectively the purchasing actions as described in CPP process (Business continuity, suppliers selection with lead time & available capacity, project cost optimization), including the alternative sources or the re-negotiation or redesigning, securing the risk relative to the project dimension.
  • Anticipate at tendering stage the risks & opportunities also cost optimization to improve the competitiveness.
  • Drive in full accountability identified alternatives at execution stage and report the YES-SPOT productivity associated to the corresponding actions.
  • Share best practices & lesson learned with other CPBs.
  • Learn and apply the processes, tools, accounting principles and skills requested to practice project buyer job
  • Ensure the involvement of the procurement function, the introduction of supplier strategies as earlier as possible in the project stage.
  • Inform category buyers about mega projects to encourage spot deals.
Who will you report to? NAM ETO Procurement Leader What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related filled is required.
  • Be able to connect with people and create strong networking in ETO (Engineer To Order) organization.
  • Experience maneging projects within Procurement/Purchasing/Supply Chain is required.
  • Be able to build strong relationship with Plant's different teams.
  • Be able to influence, convince and drive positive change management.
  • Capability of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Have full accountability and leadership of the topics managing end to end governance..
  • Navigate and adapt in front of different stakeholders and peers.
  • Additional criteria: Customer centric, Strategic Thinking, Cross cultural awareness, Decision maker, Problem solving and analytical skills.
