Customer Quality & Compliance TechnicianArchbold, OH 43502, USAJob DescriptionThe Customer Quality & Compliance Technician ensures finished good quality and customer compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining a customer compliance database; monitoring finished good quality performancelevels; improving products and/or processes by investigating, problem solving, analyzing, and applying technology; and developing expertise, standards, and procedures. This position works closely with the business segment team, other departments across the company (Procurement, Product Safety, Chemical and Environmental, Sales, Quality), third-party labs, and customers.Key Responsibilities:Concentrates on finished good quality with a focus on customer compliance expectations.Reviews, understands, and maintains records for compliance for both the customer and governmental regulations and standards.Understands customer expectations and nonconformance reports and translates those requirements into specifications used by employees within Sauder.Maintains Sauder compliance records in the customer database.Reviews, documents, and files third party reports.Assists in resolutions to non-compliant test reports and customer product deviation reports.Communicates with third-party test labs to understand and resolve issues, understand new requirements, and update Sauder Woodworking Co processes and procedures when necessary.Evaluates and improves current methods and processes for ensuring product quality and compliance to customer expectations.Qualifications:Experience or exposure in compliance and regulatory standards is desirable.Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.Experience working within database structures.Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills, verbal and written communication.Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and channels.Bachelor's degree in related field and coursework in chemistry and/or quality is preferred.PAY SUMMARY:Expected offer range: $44,500- $59,250. The actual salary will be based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and skills.
