Job Description Role Summary Main Tasks Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related matters. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their quality requirements and expectations. Actively engage in customer meetings, conferences, and other forums to address concerns and provide updates on quality-related initiatives. Develop and implement quality control plans and processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards throughout the production process. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to address quality issues effectively. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains through the application of quality tools and methodologies. Champion a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization by providing training, coaching, and support to team members. Maintain accurate records of quality-related activities, including customer complaints, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics. Prepare and deliver regular reports on quality performance to internal stakeholders and customers. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality documentation and reporting. Your Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Required Skills: Proven experience in a quality engineering or customer-facing role within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and APQP methodologies. Proficiency in quality tools and techniques such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, and failure mode and effects analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with customers at all levels. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Additional qualifications in Quality Management or Quality Engineering. Experience with customer quality requirements specific to the automotive industry. Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and lean manufacturing principles. Previous experience in leading or facilitating continuous improvement projects. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to automotive quality assurance.
