Eaton's Electronics Division (ELXD) is currently seeking a Customer Quality Manager, Americas. This position will be based from a home-office near our Deerfield Beach, FL location. The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:The Customer Quality Manager will support the Division Customer Quality Manager to solve customer quality problems for customers in the North and South Americas regions. This is an individual contributor position working with a cross-functional team within our manufacturing facilities to identify root cause and provide the implementation of effective corrective actions. In addition, they will:
- Act as the main contact to deal with customer quality issues, once the root cause identified, be in touch with the appropriate plant to implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate customer planned on-site visits to Eaton manufacturing facilities for Line, Process, Product or System Audits with the respective manufacturing sites.
- Ensure the communication and implementation of Customer Specific Requirements and Customer Relationship Review within our manufacturing facilities and distribution sites.
- Conduct statistical analyses to drive internal continuous improvement through design, process or supplier quality improvement and build relationships with global accounts and key regional distributors and customers within US.
- Support Division Customer Quality Manager to manage initiatives aimed at driving customer satisfaction, robust effective corrective action plans, while focusing on achieving Key Performance indicators.
- Assist PPAP submission process to assure complete and timely PPAP submissions are provided to customers.
- Work with Design, Sales and Marketing to resolve critical customer complaint and safety related issues.
Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, engineering and/or manufacturing
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or Business Management from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with customer correspondences and interface
- Experience using Quality tools, statistical techniques and measurements analysis
