The primary purpose of this position is to receive guests and visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing appropriately. Employee will answer all incoming calls, screen and forward to the appropriate person or section. Employee will provide information about the services available at the Academy. Employee will maintain office security by following safety procedures and precautions by controlling access via the reception desk and will monitor guests and visitors, and other visiting officials. Additional responsibilities:
- Update the calendar and schedule meeting for conference rooms and classrooms.
- Will provide support to the Academy Registrar and Customer Relations Supervisor by programming RFID key car, documenting vehicle information, assisting with student orientation, packets and class rosters.
- Accept emergency calls and respond appropriately using responsible judgment.
- Update logbooks for maintenance and landscaping work orders.
- Create, update, and maintain media slideshow on multiple monitors throughout campus.
- Will project a warm and friendly personality and pleasant attitude and work easily with visitors, guests, staff and students.
- Maintain the Academy's directory, update as needed and distribute to staff.
- Keep the Academy Directory up to date on all special guests and occurrences and disseminate information as appropriate.
- Employee must always maintain professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all situations in the presence of other state officials, campus guests and visitors.
