General Position Scope:The Customer Relationship Manager will be responsible for the formation of individualized relationships with customers, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction, maximizing profits, and providing the highest level of service. The focus will be to identify customer needs, cross sell bank products and effectively build lasting relationships between the company and its customers.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides excellent customer service with regard to new account or product inquires, recommending products based on the customers' needs and answering any questions or concerns.
  • Open various new accounts and loans.
  • Actively manages the banking relationship to ensure each client receives the best products and services for their needs.
  • Contribute to the overall profitability of the Bank by seeking out and bringing in opportunities to develop new customer relationships and increase existing relationships.
  • Work quickly to address and resolve customer issues.
  • Reinforce the Bank's culture through personal example along with appropriate follow-through with customers and coworkers.
  • May make payment decisions, with approval from banking center president or department head.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
  • Participates in the Bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
  • Makes referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Completes required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree desired
  • Minimum of five years of banking and related experience
  • General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make difficult decisions and handle multiple tasks with daily deadlines
